Sports cards: completed eBay sold listings — we take a trimmed median of recent raw sales and automatically exclude graded slabs, autographs, relics and lots. TCGs: live market data from TCGplayer (via the Pokémon TCG API), Scryfall, YGOPRODeck and Lorcana catalogs. Every price in the app shows its source, and you can tap through to the underlying listings.
Visual matching identifies most cards in one snap; when confidence is low the app shows ranked candidates instead of guessing, and scanning the card back improves tough matches. Every confirmation teaches the engine, so it gets better every day. Misread? Re-scans are always free.
